Visual Correspondence (2022-current)
These exchanges are reactions to the reality of being apart. Despite being geographically distant, we still have the desire to share ideas and reflections about anything and everything that stimulates our lives. Moments have been recorded in varied places and reveal the situation of being affected (the practice of translating the impulses). It is an archival practice that uses video recording to create a shared living memory. For us, the footage acts as the temporality pendulum swinging between Tehran and Gent.
